Adam Cockburn

As a Senior Technology Leader, Strategist and Chief Architect, I’m driven by delivering technology enabled solutions that customers want and need. I’ve held varying roles including Plusnet CIO, Digital Tribe lead at BT, Chief Architect at Capita O2 amongst many others and learned a huge amount across financial, Telco, retail, legal, health and government sectors.

I learned very early in my career that delivering impactful change is as much people and collaboration as it is technology. I’ve gained huge experience evolving and experimenting with ways of working, operating models and finding ways to empower people despite huge uncertainty which was invaluable as I led Plusnet technology into Covid Lockdown.

I’m a proponent of agile, user and product-led techniques and relish the challenge of helping evolve organisations to get more out of their existing talent and partners with high pace, iterative delivery of things that customers really value. I’m also not willing to marginalise the wider relationships and collaboration across business teams guiding teams to work hard to develop a single conversation and language.

I’m passionate about sustainability, with a degree in Environmental Science, and see huge opportunity leveraging the digital revolution so that technology makes a significant and positive contribution.
