National NetZero Lead for The AHSN Network
Pete Waddingham is the National Net Zero Lead for The AHSN Network – an organisation that supports the 15 AHSNs across England in order to spread innovation at pace and scale within the NHS. Pete has spent the last four years working for the Yorkshire & Humber AHSN on innovation to support topics such as Cardiovascular Disease, Cancer and workforce training, as well as supporting innovators understand how to access the NHS and improve efficiency, effectiveness and quality of care. Prior to this Pete worked as an Operation Manager at the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust managing Spurn Nature Reserve. He has ten years’ experience of working within the NHS as a Commissioning Manager and also numerous years working within Local Government (Housing) and during his career has always tried to blend innovation, creative thinking with an understanding of the need to tackle climate change and achieve Net Zero.
