Tharina possesses a breadth of heat networks policy knowledge and experience. She supports project sponsors through the heat network development stages, acting as a critical friend using technical, commercial, and financial expertise to support these projects from feasibility study to construction. Keen to see heat network projects succeed and expand providing low cost, low carbon heat to the end user, helping buildings decarbonise and provide energy security to the community. Tharina is a proud advocate of The Diverse Heat Network which is an initiative to increase the diversity in the heat network industry and she forms part of the District Heating Divas, a forum for women in the industry. “I passionately believe to instigate change in the industry you first need to see it, before you can be it”.
